Norm was licensed in 1993 and came over to Re/max six months later. He has always provided award winning service for his clients since then. After his fifth year in real estate Norm was the number one agent at the number one company in Prince George. Since then he has held that honor five times. Real Estate is a rewarding career as Norm has found out. "People are always excited when they buy real estate," Norm says. “It’s a life changing time for my clients and I am happy to be a part of something bigger with them.” He then goes on to say, "I like the energy and excitement people have when we look at properties together and narrow it down to the "One!""
When he is not working Norman loves time with friends and his three children and their Airedale Georgia. Norm takes every chance to "Be in the Outdoors!" From Hiking to UTV’ing and just generally being on the water whether it’s fishing or traveling to sunny beaches. Norm once sailed to South America in 2003 with some friends and that was a trip of a lifetime. Autocross racing is another hobby he enjoys along with waxing and showing his car while hanging with his father (Norm Sr.) at the annual Fathers day Show and Shine event at Fort George Park.
Kory was born in lower mainland and moved to Prince George (for a couple of years) twenty years ago. Kory’s background was in the hospitality industry and that has been a great asset for taking care of their real estate clients. Kory has been managing realtor’s offices since 1997. She has worked for different agents before committing full time to a managing partner position with Norm. They work well together and have been referred to on numerous occasions by their clients as the “Dynamic Dual”. Norm always jokes that he is outside sales. “While I am out in the field with buyers and sellers’” Norm says, “Kory’s role is to manage our clients needs along with Realtors wanting to schedule showings and make it all work with everyone’s schedules.” It’s a full time job and hours can get a little bit crazy during the hectic times. Norm Estimates they do the work of three or four agent over the course of a year. Kory says, “If you want something done right give it to people who are busy. They will make things happen that other people can’t!”
On top all the showings (and all the marketing, the social media Face Book stuff, cold calls and emails) the shear amounts paper work being moved and handled by Kory between the clients banks, agents, lawyers and both the buyers and sellers is really mind boggling. Yet Kory still finds the time to keep up on the latest real estate office trends. Keeping the office with the times Kory can digitally scan email and supply contracts to clients electronically via Authentisign for digital signatures (for clients on the move) or have papers prepared for clients the old fashion way to sign in person.
In her free time Kory likes to see her children, kyak, garden and travel.

Buying and selling real estate can be a complicated process. "Our role," says Norm Ferris, "Is to consult with our clients, determine their needs and then develop an action plan to get our clients where they want to go". That would be in the least amount of time with the most amount of equity from their transaction. He continues on to say, "Our clients know we have their best interests at heart and are confidently referring us to friends and family, which make up the bulk of our business. A referral is the highest complement you can ever receive", says Norm, "and is something we take very seriously".
Prince George is experiencing a busy time in the market place. Inventory is low and prices are still affordable for a city of our size.
